Word Sparks has been developed using the world’s largest known database of writing for and by children, defining 300 ambitious words to help children succeed in school. These have been combined with fully-decodable books to help you match phonics teaching while inspiring and engaging your young readers.

This set  includes both Partner Texts and Regular Texts. The Partner Texts designed for an adult and child to read together. The adult reads the part with richer language, while the child reads phonically decodable text. Regular Texts are fully decodable, designed to be read by the child but with 'focus word' boxes, which are designed for an adult to discuss with the child.
